Two weeks ago I got my new Iphone 4 finally, we bought it in Switzerland as its cheaper than Germany, everything is more expensive here which is a pain really...Im happy though, I have my baby back, you all know my story and how I lost my baby to red wine, a few months ago. Life was never the same again. I did have an alternative phone a Sony Ericsson which served its purpose but, some how some thing was missing.
Patience and perseverance and a few months later hubby bought me another one, meanwhile many things transpired, my daughter left for India and I found a part time job etc., so when I was using my alternative phone, I would look at people with Iphone's and think of my poor phone, lying dead in the cupboard. I have not thrown it away, someone even offered to buy it for 50 euros, I said no, it was a leaving present from my mates at work. I'm hanging on to it.
Well now since I have the new Iphone4, life is back to normal, so many new apps, still need to get some new music uploaded on it though. I missed the google maps when I went out, as my sense of direction sucks...I have my flash cards again, helps with my German learning process. I also noticed that the battery would run dry every day, so posted a question on my forum and someone replied that I needed to turn off the background apps as they run even when I'm not using it...All's well in iphone land now...I also need to get a flat rate for my phone, as using 3G takes alot of money as I love playing around with the phone and use it alot when out. Incase any of you have one, great app to have is Whatsapp Messenger, free sms's to anywhere in the world if the other person also has the app on their phone though. Works for blackberry as well, and you will get all your friends sending you messages at freakishly odd hours being in different time zones...I learnt the hard way, I now turn off notifications before I go to bed :)
I'm now waiting for the leather cover I ordered on Amazon taking forever to reach here, will post a photo when its arrives...hopefully this week..
On that note, till next time.
Tchuss!!
